Farewell Logans

Here's to the Legacy that touched us all...for those of us who stepped back into the 1800s with the Logan family, we will always remember the great writing, talented cast and beautiful scenery as Lexington, Kentucky, 1881 came alive.

Thank you!Chris Abbott, for creating a world we had forgotten existed, and for making history more fun than we ever imagined it could be! Your talent and your love for these characters came through every week.

Thank you!Brett Cullen, for giving us the type of father we all wished we had. Your talent of saying so much with so few words gave Ned a quiet strength he would never have possessed without you. No one else could have played him but you.

Thank you!Grayson McCouch and Sharon Leal, for reminding us that sometimes love is all that matters and for playing Sean and Marita with such intensity.

Thank you!Jeremy Garrett, for bringing us Clay's complexities and fierce determination. You taught us compassion for the son that never felt like he fit in.

Thank you!Ron Melendez, for giving us Jeremy and all his troubles, mischief and constant shenanigans. We were rooting for you all the time to figure out that you belonged.

Thank you!Lea Moreno, for letting Alice shine in a man's world and for questioning things that most women did not question. Alice was ahead of her time and you played her wonderfully.

Thank you!Sarah Rayne, for your insightful and delightful portayal of Lexy, the precocious, outspoken and often wisest Logan. Your talent is beyond your years and we can't wait to see you grow.

Thank you! Steven Williams, for the quiet, supportive Isaac. He kept the family together and often kept Ned sane. Your portayal was always honest and you made us glad you were a part of the family.

Thank you!Lisa Sheridan, Sean Bridgers and Casey Biggs, for giving us the whirlwind of Winters that always gave our Logans a run for their money. You made it easy to hate you and that's the best compliment you can give to villains!

if Ned ever found another woman he could love as much as Libby,

if Sean and Marita stayed together despite society's rules,

if Clay ever resolved his constant anguish, and if he and Vivian gave in to their attraction,

if Jeremy ever believed in himself half as much as Ned did,

if Alice ever got out of life everything she expected, including Jeremy,

and if Lexy ever stopped eavesdropping!

But there's one thing we know for sure...

Gauntlet would have won the Derby!

Thanks to all the crew and extras that worked on "Legacy." You made us believe it was 1881. The photography, sets, props, costumes, music, horses and portrayals were perfect.

To Alliance Atlantis Communications: Thank you for the wisdom to produce this series and fighting for it when we were backed into a corner.

And special thanks to the fans. You kept the Legacy alive for as long as you could. Your never ending faith, energy and support for this show has made a difference in a lot of lives.

And with that, we FADE TO BLACK
