Brett Cullen led the cast of the drama series Legacy as patriarch Ned Logan, a widowed horse breeder living in post-Civil War Kentucky, who is determined to overcome any obstacles to keep his family together.
Cullen moved to Los Angeles after landing his first television series role in The Chisholms. In 1983, Cullen was cast in The Thorn Birds, and followed with the miniseries Eureka Stockade. In 1986, he starred on the series Falcon Crest and, in 1989, starred in the series Young Riders. Cullen's additionally appeared in Orleans, and Suddenly Susan, as well as guest-starring roles like Ally McBeal; Outer Limits; Arliss; and Tales From the Crypt. He also appeared in Something Borrowed, Something Blue; Danielle Steele's Family Album; Gambler Five: The Last Days of the Wild Bunch; The Hired Heart; and recently he appeared in Tom Hanks' From the Earth to the Moon.
